The Austin Air Allergy Machine HEGA Filter utilizes military technology, by incorporating a military grade carbon cloth for removing odors and gases. The cloth is combined with another outer filter, a Highly Efficient Particulate Arresting (HEPA) filter that traps airborne particles. This coalition, the High Efficiency Gas Absorption (HEGA) filter, means the removal and absorption of even the smallest airborne particles and chemical gas contaminants.

True Medical Grade HEPA removes 99.97% of all particulates as tiny as 0.3 microns and 95% of all particulates 0.1 microns and smaller.
