For over 20 years, the Pivotal Therapy System Occipivot has been used by physical therapists, massage therapists, and chiropractors to treat soft tissue issues related to the spine. It takes time to slowly re-posture the spine and its soft tissue components. The Occipivot Pillow is designed to help expedite this process and encourage restoration of normal function. The neck decompression device helps with re-posturing the spine and its soft tissue components by strengthening muscles that support improved posture and back pain. The Occipivot neck pad is useful in treating tension and stress syndromes which include headaches, Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMJ), cervical syndrome, and tension at the base of the skull (such as tight muscles at the top of your neck).
Uses of the Occipivot Pillow include treating neck pain, or for chronic tension in the neck. As the fingertips on the occipivot come into contact with the tense areas of the neck, this occipital base release tool creates an acupressure effect which releases tension.
