Padded stays adjustable for individual finger alignment
The 3pp Comforter Wrist Splint is softly padded to provide the rest needed to reduce inflammation and morning stiffness caused by Rheumatoid Arthritis. The Comforter Wrist Splint holds the wrist and MP joints (large knuckles) of the fingers straight to reduce stress on muscles and tendons, making it a great night splint for arthritis sufferers. The neoprene straps include finger holes for independent application and removal of the splint even by those who have difficulties with fine motor skills. 3pp Comforter Wrist Splint offers flexible padded stays to protect the fingers and lessen the damaging effects of arthritis and certain neurological impairments. This comfortable night splint is also used for stroke patients and those with ulnar deviation of the wrist and MP joints. The small joints of the fingers and the thumb are free to allow the wearer to manage bedding and nighttime activities. The wrist and the metacarpal joints are supported in a neutral position.
The 3pp Comforter Wrist Splint offers firm control to limit or stop motion, in order to allow affected joints and tissues to heal. Severe pain from overuse or arthritis requires full rest to quiet the pain. In such instances, a molded plastic splint or one with a metal stay is needed, to offer the required amount of control.
