Crutch-Mate hand and arm pads are made with a uniquely high glycerin gel designed to reduce pressure points and improve comfort. Crutch-Mate pads will not fall apart, will help reduce friction, prevent skin breakdown, and supply comprehensive comfort. This patented gel-based formula is known to ensure that the arm pads and handgrips return to their original shape and functionality. Crutch-Mate II arm pads and hand grips will not split, crack, or dry out. In addition, this durable gel prevents skin friction and breakdown.
How to Use:
Crutch-Mate - Remove the old arm pad or hand grip from the crutch core. When applying the arm pad, simply stretch the Crutch-Mate over the core and press the hook and loop closure in place. To disassemble the crutch grip, take out the sweet spot from the grip core and toss it aside. Then, push the core through Crutch-Mate gel pad and slip it back onto the handle, ensuring that the stitching is on the underside. Stretching the pad over the Crutch-Mate II arm cuff to apply the cuff is all that is necessary. Make sure that the stitching is placed underneath the strap.
Cleaning Instructions:
To clean the Crutch-Mate & Crutch-Mate II, remove the outside cover wipe it down with a damp (not wet) cloth using mild soap or disinfectant. Allow the product to dry completely before using it.
Please Note:
The gel will absorb water and expand. If the product becomes wet, lay it flat on a table and let it air dry before continuing use. Do not put wet towels under the gel.
